This week's Operation Write Home sketch #165 looks like this:
Here is one version:
DCWV Taj Mahal Foil and Glitter stack. The paper has the covered glitter - safe for OWH! Stamp from My Favorite Things Dream Big set. SEI ink, over stamped with Tsukineko Moonlight White. Border punch from American Crafts. Offray satin ribbon.
Another version:
The gold border was part of the base DP, I slit the right edge and inserted the sentiment strip. A lot prettier in person, but not a favorite. Sentiment Above Rubies Studio, ink SEI, paper DCWV Taj Mahal.
Lovely color combo and the sentiment is beautiful. Nice job with this sketch.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Love the rich colors.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, I LOVE your paper choices and those rich colors! (Yikes, I'm dittoing Carmen again!) And that top sentiment is beautiful! I also like the font on the second card a bunch. It's one of the prettier I've seen.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are super nice...Love the colors in the first a wee bit more but the scallops in the second are gorgeous! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteI love both cards- the paper on the first one is gorgeous, very rich and elegant and I love the sentiment! I like the gold on the second one- and I agree- the scallops on 2nd one are so pretty and great sentiment stamp, too! TFS
ReplyDeleteVery nice cards. Your background paper on the first card is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards! Love the rich colors on your first card and the second's scallops and the variation looks terrific. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou've created a great pair of cards! I especially like that rich blue color with the designer paper on the first! NJ!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Bobbi! Love the rich blue and yellow colors of the first, and the soft rich colors of the second. What a clever idea way to use border paper in the 2nd. I'll have to remember to cut a slit to insert the sentiment.
