OWH Sketch Challenge #154

This week, I am thrilled to have my sample card used for the sketch challenge!  Of course, I had to make more using the sketch!!!  I love this layout, as I can use a lot of my scraps.

The sketch:

My version using orange and pink scraps from the DCWV Baby Girl Stack and a sentiment from Clearly Defined:

How about some from The Paper Studio Stack and Slice shiny background paper?  Sentiments from Fiskars.

I love the layered ribbon effect.  As long as at least one layer is organza ribbon, it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the card.  I will have to do that more often!

  1. These are stunning! I also love that layers ribbon effect. All of them have beautiful papers, but the brown cards have an added elegant feel to them. Enjoy the day.

I can't wait to play along but it is below zero here and I can't seem to move away from the couch, blanket and heating pad... Lol!!! Brr! Maybe later! :)

  6. Great sketch and gorgeous cards - I love the bright one as well as the darker more elegant ones! I have got to see if I have any organza, I don't think so - but I will pick some up cause the layering is beautiful!

  12. Your cards look fabulous and I love the sketch! The layered ribbon is something I've never tried before, but I like it, so now I'll try it! I love the rich tones of the earthy colored brown dsp's - great for masculine cards even with the ribbon!
