OWH Mid Week Throw Down - No Sentiment

This week's Mid Week Throw Down is to make a card with no sentiment.  WHAT?!?  I am not into coloring, so I rarely use images.  I really depend on designer paper cut in fun ways.  EEK!  What to do?  OK, deep breath.

I remembered that my sister in law gave me a beautiful sheet of K and Company butterfly and dragonfly stickers.  YES!!!

Random scraps of paper, silk moire ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder. I glued the body of the dragonfly to the card, and put small pop dots under both wings.  I may have to make a few more of these.

How about one that is a little more masculine?  Well, this one didn't turn out as nice as my first card.

Because of the mirror paper, I had to take the picture at a funny angle.  The card is OK, but not a favorite.  Maybe the silver piece is too high?  Wrenches the wrong color?  Maybe should have used black grommets?  All of the above?

  5. You did an amazing job with the butterfly card and I would not change a thing on your masculine card- I like the color of the tools- it contrasts nicely with the embossed silver.
