The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - I is for Image

The current challenge from The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is to make a card using an image - no sentiment.  Crafting i an iterative process for me - keep trying until I get it right.  Here is my first attempt:
Meh, ok, but missing something.  How about a sparkly ribbon?
MUCH better.  Amazing what a difference a single element can make.  Lovely as a Tree image heat embossed in silver, distress inked then layered on silver mirrored paper and DCWV Winter Magic silver, blue and white snowflake paper.

Come play along with us at Words 2 Scrap By - Ahoy Matey!  Did you know that September 19 is Talk Like a Pirate Day?!?!

  1. Beautiful card! It's funny how one element can make a card go from flat to fab. Thanks for joining the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for our "Image Only" challenge!

  2. Both versions are beautiful, but I agree, that the ribbon can make it look like a totally different card. Like that mirrored paper and the tree look so nice silver embossed. Enjoy your day.
