Words 2 Scrap By September Challenge - Ahoy, Matey!

Did you know that September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day?  In honor of this fabulous day of fun, the Words 2 Scrap By challenge is Ahoy, Matey! Make a card/project inspired by one of the following pirate expressions:
  • Ahoy, Matey!
  • Arrrr!
  • Blimey!
  • Yo Ho Ho!
Here is my nautical themed card:
 The ship is lightly colored with watercolor pencils, die cut with Spellbinder dies, and layered with a clear piece of packaging to make the portal.  Sentiment from Unity.  The paneling is textured with a Sizzix woodgrain embossing folder.  LOVE!!

    Ahoy, Matey! Love your interpretation of this month's talk-like-a-pirate Words 2 Scrap By challenge! Such a good idea to upcycle that clear packaging to make your cool portal. :)
