This week's challenge over at Shopping Our Stash is Oh, Shiny!
A year or so ago, I bought a ton of this shiny card stock for next to nothing. I love how it looks when embossed with a diamond plate folder. Makes a nice masculine card. Operation Write Home is always in need of masculine cards, so I made a bunch of these:
It is such a challenge to photograph reflective surfaces!!! Old All Night Media sentiment. Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Classy CAS design!
ReplyDeleteBobbi, this make a marvelous guy card. I'll have to see if I can find some shiny silver paper. I didn't have shiny so I tried spring some glitter mist onto regular silver and it looked ok but nothing like your shiny paper. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteMaybe foil glued onto card stock with a consistent glue sweep - then placed into embossing folder ?
DeleteYou did a wonderful job on this card and on the photography! Perfect for a guy!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Love that embossing, it couldn't be more perfect. Thanks so much for coming to play at Shopping our Stash :)
ReplyDeleteCan't find shiny paper? Try fusing aluminum foil to card stock before embossing it. Just don't use too much 'pressure'. use only one tab or try one plate. Should work!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the diamond plate folder? I've been looking....
