OWH Sunday Sketch #169

This week's challenge over at Operation Write Home looks like this:

169

Here is my take:

K & Company papers and stickers, Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The butterfly sticker is on card stock, fussy cut, and then creased at the "body".  Only the "body" is adhered to the base.  I REALLY wanted to use three flowers, not two.  I did restrain myself, LOL!!!

  2. Beautiful card! That butterfly is just stunning and really shines as the focal point. The embossed pink background is just the right touch. And two flowers are definitely the right amount. Great job!

  3. Wow- I think that butterfly is gorgeous! The 2 flowers are perfect...I know- since we had Paula's recent 'odd' tutorial- 3 and 5 are on my mind a lot- but your card is stunning with the 2 flowers! Love your embossing too!

  4. The papers you picked to go well with your beautiful butterfly. The embossing adds a nice touch along with your two flowers. I know I keep thought about three embellishments on my card too - but kept it to two to follow along with this week's sketch. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card.

  10. This card really caught my eye! I love how you made a bold and beautiful butterfly accented by soft underlays. It really made the butterfly stand out. And the embossing is elegant. Really lovely card, you must have spent a long time making this card.
