This week's throwdown is to make a back and white card, and add a pop of color.
I like this version a lot better than I did my first attempt.
Here is my second attempt:
Here is my first attempt:
I prefer the color accent in the bling, not the ink of the sentiment. What do you think?
Thank You sentiment from TPC Studios. Stamp is SU Fresh Vintage. Bling from Stash.
WOW so cute. Love the frames around your images and your pop of color is just the right amount. Your rounded corners gift the card a soft feel, which I love.
ReplyDeleteI like both versions. The color is what makes it pop, whether it is the ink or the bling. I like that they are clean and simple cards. Those are the hardest for me to do.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Love that patterned paper in the 3 squares! Both look great, but the colored bling does 'pop' a bit more. The rounded corners really give it a softer look. Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteI like both versions, they're equally well done! I love those pretty inchies too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I agree with you, though. Somehow I'm more drawn to the color on the bling even though the color on the sentiment looks good too. I also really like the inchies and the patterned paper.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are lovely! I really like the sentiment in black with the colored bling on your second attempt. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cards, I love the rounded edges with the scallops. I like the colored bling as well. Great job with the challenge!
ReplyDeletethese are both nice cards. I think it's a preference as to whether you like the bling colored or the words. I prefer the second card.
