Acetate and Alcohol Inks

I combined the CAS Mix It Up Chalenge for Acetate + Stamping + Your Choice, with the colors for The Color Throwdown
 &

I used Purple Twilight and Lettuce Adirondack alcohol inks on acetate, stamped the older CTMH sentiments in Staz On, and layered it on a white background framed in black.  I sandwiched the die cut between the acetate and the white background, since I struggled to glue the die cut to the acetate.  Come play along with us at Words 2 Craft By for our Phenomenal Women challenge!

  1. What a stunning effect you have achieved with the alcohol inks and the acetate. Great idea to sandwich the die cut poppy flowers between the background card and acetate. Love the dramatic effect of the black too. Thank you for sharing these beautiful cards at The CAS Mix Up challenge x

  4. Oh Bobbi ... those AI colours are GORGEOUS together. Love it paired with the black sentiment, die-cut and framing. Great tip to add the die-cut in-between the acetate and white background. Very clever!! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

  5. Beautiful alcohol ink on acetate background, Bobbi. Your black frame and silhouette images really make your background pop. I have used Tombow liquid ink to glue pieces onto acetate and then weight down with a large acrylic block until dry. Works great, but looks like you found another solution by sandwiching your silhouette flowers between the 2 layers:-) TFS and joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs
