Tie Dye Elephant

I bought this gorgeous Tattered Lace Die, and could wait to play with him.  I cut the filigree layer in dark grey.  The bottom layer was colored with Inktense pencils, then misted with water to make the colors more vibrant and run together.
I am sharing with The Color Throwdown:

Sunshine & Laughter

Fusion has a great image for inspiration:
I used Spellbinder dies, cut Craft Smith Paint Chip paper, layered the petals in ombre, fastened them together with tiny white brads, then added a Hero Arts sentiment.

Butterfly Kisses

Try Stampin' On Tuesday has a sketch challenge this week:
Here is my version:
I took out one of my hoarded K&Co butterfly stickers and trimmed it to make it free standing.  With the pattern and bright colors, it needed a simple background to let it shine.

Masked Balloons

Once again, I have been neglecting my blog.  Been crafting, but not entering many challenges.  Today is the day I get back into better habits!!

Color Throwdown this week:
My version:
I cut masks from transfer tape with an older Sizzix die, and inked with Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks.  The sentiment is from SU! Watercolor Words.  The sequins and jewels from my stash, mostly Sparkletz Embellishments.
