OWH VCMP Inchie Challenge

Operation Write Home is hosting a Virtual Card Making Party this weekend, with nwe challenges every few hours.

First hostess, Nancy at Scrap Happens!

Her challenge, make an inchie card using the sketch she provided.

I was going for this:

Instead, I stamped my sentiment poorly, then tried to erase the goober. Didn't work out so well.  Hey, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for embellishment, right?!?!?  So I improvised:

DCWV Christmas Combo papers, SU Sincere Salutations sentiment (my all time favorite set).  Sizzix Holly and Berries #2 texture plate.  Spellbinder die, stash ribbon.

  3. I agree your opps turned itself into a great look. The sentiment on the die cut and the ribbon woven through it is such a GREAT look and a really string focal point. Nice job on this first challenge Bobbi!

  5. Funny...you are the only other person (like me) that would call that a GOOBER. Lovely card. Lynn G.

  6. Nice save! I agree that the doctored card is prettier! The embellishment to cover the oops adds really nice dimension, add the embossing and WOW!! I'm actually going to use the save as instructions to make a card, so thank you!
