Try Stampin on Tuesday has a fun sketch challenge with pattern mixing as an optional theme.
The patterns I mixed are embossed with an old Sizzix texture plate and a Provo Craft folder. I bought the stacked heart die cuts second hand, not sure of the maker? The pearl accents are Paper Studio. Here is the TSOT sketch:

OWH VCMP Inchie Challenge
Operation Write Home is hosting a Virtual Card Making Party this weekend, with nwe challenges every few hours.
First hostess, Nancy at Scrap Happens!
Her challenge, make an inchie card using the sketch she provided.
I was going for this:
Instead, I stamped my sentiment poorly, then tried to erase the goober. Didn't work out so well. Hey, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for embellishment, right?!?!? So I improvised:
DCWV Christmas Combo papers, SU Sincere Salutations sentiment (my all time favorite set). Sizzix Holly and Berries #2 texture plate. Spellbinder die, stash ribbon.

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Miss You
This week's challenge is to make a Miss You card.
Patterned paper is Basic Grey Olivia. BlackGlossy Accents Enamel Accents for the dots. Sizzix texture plate embossing on the background.
Not my favorite. It is taking me hours to make even one card. I just seem to wander around.

OWH Sketch Challenge #152
This week's sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home looks like this:
Here is my version:
Fiskars sentiments, scrap paper, Sizzix texture plate.
I have missed the past few challenges and throw downs. My darling mother died on December 14, after a 3 month fight against Cushing's Disease. She inspired my serial crafting, and supported my habits through her garage sale and thrift store finds. She was the only parent I had, and I will miss her terribly. I will honor her by continuing to create and give - as she did until the end.
