OWH Sketch Challenge #152

This week's sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home looks like this:

152

Here is my version:

Fiskars sentiments, scrap paper, Sizzix texture plate.

I have missed the past few challenges and throw downs.  My darling mother died on December 14, after a 3 month fight against Cushing's Disease.   She inspired my serial crafting, and supported my habits through her garage sale and thrift store finds.  She was the only parent I had, and I will miss her terribly. I will honor her by continuing to create and give - as she did until the end.

  1. Bobbi, your card is beautiful. The sentiment is perfectly highlighted with the pretty circle border. I am so sorry for your loss right now. What a wonderful way to honor your mother, by continuing to do something she loved. God bless you!

  2. Bobbi, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom. How sweet you are honoring your mom through your creations; it will bring you comfort over the upcoming days and months. My Dad has been gone just over 8 years and I miss him daily but the pain is not as sharp. I pray that your pain will ease soon. Your card is a wonderful tribute to your mom- beautiful sentiment and I really like your paper choices. Take care of yourself, Diane
