It’s been a minute!!
Life has gotten in the way of blogging. All good things happening! Hubs retired and that’s an adjustment in and of itself. We bought some property and are building a new home with a huge craft room. Yay for me!
I have been playing with the Taylored Expressions create in quads and triple slim layering stencils. If you haven’t tried them you should! All 4 of these card fronts were made with one piece of paper and one quad set of stencils:
Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster, Punpkin Pie, Pineapple, and Blue Corn inks. The sentiments are from their line of Simple Strips. Love these!!!

Send A Smile 4 Kids March Challenge: 4 The Boys
The March challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids is cards 4 Boys. Feminine cards tend to be more common, so cards for the boys are always appreciated!
Sentiment and papers from CTMH, the bling is from This calls for confetti. I like how flat these sequins are! Be sure to link up your card 4 Boys at Send A Smile 4 Kids.

Lime Green and Cyan?!?
Color Hues has an interesting challenge to use lime green and cyan. Odd pairing (to me :)) but check out the fun examples from the design team.
The "wood" panel is taken from a Gina K tip. Score your paper in 1/2" increments, then drag grey ink on the other side of the paper. Instant shiplap! The "hello" was die cut from adhesive puffy foam. Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster and Peapod inks, Gina K stamps, die cut, and stencil. I would never have chosen this color combo on my own, but I will probably use it again!Saturday, February 4, 2023
February 2023: Spring/Easter Cards 4 Kids
This month's challenge is to make a Spring or Easter card 4 a kid. Bunnies and pastels scream Spring to me!!
Tiny envelopes, cut from scraps, holding tiny brown bunnies. So much fun! Link up your your creation over at the SAS 4 Kids blog.

Lots of Love
I get the Scrapbook and Cards Today monthly sampler, and it is my absolute favorite subscription. $15 per month for papers, a die and/or a small stamp set, shipped. Super value!! The Sampler was perfect for The Color Hues challenge of Pink and Red and the Paper Craft Crew Love is in the Air challenge:
I used the stencil and die from the Sampler. I inked the stencil in pink, then turned it 90 degrees and inked in red. I didn't have the exact paper color, so I inked some white paper with the red to create the sentiment and base layer. Such a soft, pretty effect! Sharing with The Color Hues Pink and Red Challenge:
