The Paper Girls have a "Toys" challenge. My son always loved playing with his Army Men:
Paper House paper accented with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. Hero Arts sentiment. Pretty simple card, but will be perfect to send to a deployed soldier!

Let's Be Mermaids!
In honor of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade (yes it is a thing!), I bring you:
I embossed the fabulous background paper with a Spots and Dots folder, and topped it with the die cut and sentiment. The papers were so strong, I thought simple was better. Sharing with The Color Throwdown:

Just Keep Swimming!
My poor blog has been neglected lately. I have been creating, just not entering challenges. Life is crazy fun, and even when it's not, I try to just keep swimming!!Hero Arts stamps, Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade ink for the fish, Faded Jeans for the sentiment. Lawn Fawn stitched dies. Sharing this with the Shopping Our Stash You're So Punny challenge, and the Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch challenge:

Words 2 Craft By - Running Barefoot
Our Words this month come from Leslie Grimutter.
My own prescription for health is less paperwork
and more running barefoot.
and more running barefoot.
Life is truly better in flip flops!!!
And what better to pair with flip flops than a teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini?!?!
We hope you'll join us by linking up a running-barefoot-inspired card/project. Our challenge winner will receive a $10 e-certificate to the merchant of her/his choice. See you in the W2CB Gallery!
