Shopping Our Stash has challenged us to use something NEW on our project. No problem for me - I was quite blessed this Christmas. I asked for, and received, a Spirograph. I know - that's a kid's toy. The person who gave it to me laughed, but I wanted to see if I could draw elements to use as a focal point. Here is one of my better tries:
This one will go to Anna - the person who gave me the Spirograph! I hope she likes it, as she was more than generous... Old Sizzix texture plate, Spellbinder dies, ribbon rescued from a Victoria's Secret shopping bag layered with white satin Offray ribbon, sentiment from Fiskars. The jewel in the center is from Above Rubies Studio.

I also want to enter this into Pixie's Playground Challenge.

I loved to play with my kid's Spirograph, probably more than they did. LOL You did a fabulous job and I love the colors. Have a fun day.

Brilliant card. I used to love my Spirograph set xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the jewel and the colors. Nothing better than playing with kids toys as an adult! Look how creative. Great card!
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done with your spirograph, and how clever of you to see that it could be used for your card crafting. This is an awesome card, with the tiny threads all wound so artfully around this shape, and what stunning colors you've selected to show it off! Just became your newest follower. Congrats for being highlighted at the Snippets Playground, where I found your pretty card. Hope you'll find time to visit me when you can. TFS & Happy Sunday
