This week's sketch looks like this:
Here is my version:
The silver squares reflect like a mirror, the black squares and pink background papers are almost as shiny. Pretty effect, awful picture!!
I used grosgrain ribbon as my horizontal strip. The lettering is a sticker from Doodlebug Designs.
I just love the colors and simplicity of your card. I know what you mean about photographing shining paper, so hard!
ReplyDeleteThis is just fantastic! I love the CAS look and especially those letters! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love pink , black and sliver! What a great idea nice CAS...photographing that is not easy!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see the shiny silver and I love the tile effect you created with the squares. Very nice.
ReplyDeletelove this card, it's so classy!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Paula -- very elegant card. Too bad the shiny's didn't show up in the picture! Love the pink and black color combo.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet card! I wish I could see the "shiny" but totally understand about photos (especially from those of us who are not photographers on the side, lol). It's so wonderful, Bobbi! Thanks for sharing. Tamara
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so lovely! The colors are wonderful, I love how you placed the sentiment, and I had a similar problem with the camera not doing well with my glossy Winnie the Pooh tiles. Shiny isn't easy!
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet this is stunning in person. I totally understand having issues with the photos I take of my cards. This is so clean and lovely. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletePink CAS!! I love it! Very pretty card, Bobbi.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Bobbi! I agree, shiny stuff is always SO hard to photograph and you never get the full effect of what it looks like in person. I like how you used the ribbon in your interpretation of this week's sketch too!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and pink, so cool 1940s deco! The shiny squares are so different and a fun unexpected! Great cad, TFS
ReplyDeleteLovely CAS card! Love the black and white with the pink base!
ReplyDeleteSweet card...adore that sentiment!
