Creepy Halloween

The Color Throwdown challenge reminded me of a creepy Halloween scene, how about you?

 

Birds on a Wire from Spellbinders cut in shiny black paper, background and moon inked, sentiment heat embossed.  There are still a few days left to play along with us at Words 2 Craft By!!!

Sketchy Thanks and Giving

The "simple" card was a lot more complex that it looks :). 

Very old Mary Englebreit patterned paper embossed with Falling Leaves embossing folder, inked with Distress Inks.  The Neat and Tangled sentiment is heat embossed 3X.  I had not tried layering embossing powder before, but my MISTI made it easy, and I love the dimension from the the multiple coats.  To join in the Shopping Our Stash That's Sketchy challenge, I based this on an old Operation Write Home sketch:
