Seongsook's challenge is to make a triple time card using die cuts. I didn't have the right dies to use, so I pulled out my trusty cutter and my Triple Time Bobbi Style SVG. Click to download the free SVG or the SCUT file.
Here is my card:
DCVW Black Currant papers, sentiment form Above Rubies Studio.

OWH VCMP Inchie Challenge
Operation Write Home is hosting a Virtual Card Making Party this weekend, with nwe challenges every few hours.
First hostess, Nancy at Scrap Happens!
Her challenge, make an inchie card using the sketch she provided.
I was going for this:
Instead, I stamped my sentiment poorly, then tried to erase the goober. Didn't work out so well. Hey, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for embellishment, right?!?!? So I improvised:
DCWV Christmas Combo papers, SU Sincere Salutations sentiment (my all time favorite set). Sizzix Holly and Berries #2 texture plate. Spellbinder die, stash ribbon.

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Thank You
Jan has been the hostess for the Mid Week Throw Down for several years. This is her last challenge for us. Thank you, Jan, for all of the hard work and fun ideas you have shared with OWH. While I am sure that the Throw Downs will continue, your sweet posts will be missed!!
Here is my Thank You card:
Papers from DCWV La Creme. I hoard these papers, even the small scraps. I know it is against the Scrap Wrangler rules, but I can't let them go...

Thing: Twine - Drunken Stampers Challenge 137
Challenge #137 over at Drunken Stampers is to create a card using twine.
A half dozen of these is my "go to" hostess gift. Clean and simple, with a nice personal touch.
Confession time. I cheat. I use adhesive vinyl for the white circle and the letters. On my cutter, I cut the circle, and then cut the letter inside the circle. I place the letter onto a colored circle of cardstock, and the vinyl circle on a die cut scallop. The vinyl has a bit of shine, and I never have glue goobers. And no one is the wiser...
Twine is We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy Fancy Floss. Cuttlebug embossing folders. 1/2" corner chomper. Card size is A2. Font is Lucinda Handwriting. I doubt I will use this font again for the letter "B", I think it looks too much like Barbie!

Golf Team Congratulations Card
A close friend of the family made the varsity golf team, and I made this card for him. Congratulations, Alex!!!!
I used my Sizzix thin circle die to cut the card base and front. The front was then embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, and I mounted it backwards. The flag was also cut with Sizzix thin dies. Edges distressed with grey SEI ink, and I stamped "Congrats" in red on the inside.
I know!! I made a card for someone other than OWH!!!

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Friendship Card
This week's challenge is to make a friendship card, especially one that a man could send to another man. Well, I missed the part about it being a masculine challenge, and I made this card:
My mojo has abandoned me. Again. When that happens, I tend to make cards I have made before, and liked. This is one of them. Here is another, that actually meets the challenge at OWH, and for the House of Cards Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge!
I LOVE this mirrored cardstock. It embosses beautifully with this Cuttlebug folder. I cut the rings with my Sizzix thin dies, the sentiment is from TPC, and the rivets from my stash. Not a new layout, but different details. But I am still creating!!!

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Fall
This week's OWH Mid Week Throw Down challenge is to create a card with a fall theme. I wasn't happy with my card for the last Sunday sketch challenge, (see my previous post), so I tweaked the sketch and tried again.
Much better!!!!

This week's sketch at Operation Write Home is sponsored by Doodle Pantry. Laurie and her team are even offering a prize to one lucky card creator. Thanks, Doodle Pantry, for supporting OWH!!!
The sketch looks like this:
Here is my version:
Wish I had off set the vertical element... Spellbinder die, TPC sentiment, Sizzix wood grain embossing, random paper and ribbon from stash.
