Freshly Made Love

Judy from Freshly Made Sketches has a great challenge this week:

Spellbinder background die layered over bright silver metallic (sooo hard to photograph).  The oval mirror sentiment has been in my stash for at least 10 years!  I make more love cards than Valentines, since they will be donated to Cards for Soldiers and general cards have a longer shelf life.
Super simple, but I have the red and silver combination for this sketch:

Love is in the Air

I wanted to share my Valentine I made for my husband.

He loves shaker cards!  I am sharing this with The Color Throdown #350:
And The Male Room:
Love is from Lawn Fawn, the hearts are from a Spellbinder background die in silver, black glitter, and red foil.  Come play along with the Words 2 Craft By Kindness challenge!

W2CB #50 - Blizzard of Kisses

This month's challenge is drawn from these words:

This wonderful background die is a blizzard of kisses in my mind!!!

Can't wait to see how you interpret these words!  Please share your creations with us at Words 2 Craft By!!

Valentines for Family

I like to send Valentines to family and friends, not just to my husband.  It can be hard to make a love card that isn't romantic.  The Color Throwdown color challenge is perfect for this!
The pale pink parchment background contrasts well with the grey overlay cut with a Spellbinder Shapeability Cascading Hearts die.  The red lettering cut with an older Sizzix die didn't show up very well, so I cut a second set out of the pale pink as a shadow.

More Hearts

I needed a Valentine for our teenage son.  It is hard to make a love card be masculine!

Spellbinders Cascading Hearts background die, Lawn Fawn sentiment layered and highlighted with Wink of Stella.  I'm sharing this with Simply Create Too #124 - Love.  Come play along with our Celebrations challenge at Words 2 Craft By!!

Hearts, Hearts, and MORE Hearts

February is all about hearts and love.  Here is my latest:

Spellbinders Cascading Hearts background die, Spellbinder Shapabilities lock and key dies, Unity sentiment.  The key and the center of the lock are silver mirrored paper, so they don't photograph as well as I would like. The paper is mottled in shades of red and pink.

Come join us at Words 2 Scrap By for our February challenge - Do Something Different!

I would like to add this one to the Cards in Envy Hearts All Aflutter challenge, and Simply Create Too: Valentine's Day or Use Hearts challenge.
