Santa Baby (Revisited!)

A few days ago, I posted a Santa card for the Cards in Envy Santa Baby challenge.  I wasn't completely satisfied with the original, so I made another.

Much better.  The layout and patterned paper set off Santa much better, and I like the texture of the grosgrain ribbon.  Santa cut from the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge, beard embossed with Divine Swirls folder, black crystals for his eyes.

Santa cut with my Cricut and embossed with Divine Swirls.  I added Flower Soft to his hat brim and pompom.  Recollections sentiment layered on SU! paper.  

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Christmas in July

This week's challenge is to make a Christmas card.  OWH must ship all cards overseas by October 31, so we need to start early!

I made this Santa jacket card from an OWH tutorial found HERE.

I made an file to cut the buckle out of gold foil paper.  You can download it HERE.  The red is completely flocked, the brass brads from the office supply store, Recollections kraft and textured black papers, iridescent white from Coredinations, Cuttlebug swirl embossing, scalloped die from Above Rubies Studio, grosgrain ribbon for the belt.
