OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Brown

This week's challenge is to make a card using the color brown.  Happy dance - I love brown!  So many different shades, it can be bold or subtle.  Here is my offering:

K and Company vellum sticker sentiment, DCWV Safari background embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. 

Sorry I have been a bit absent from posting.  I got a "big girl" job, and have been working a lot.  I have not yet retrained my family to not have a full time grocer/cook/maid/laundress.  Hoping to get them on board soon - I miss my craft room!!!!!

OWH Mid Week Throw Down

This week's challenge from OWH is Let Your Light Shine!  What does that mean? It means cards that incorporates light, such a a lamp, the sun, a light bulb, a lighthouse, a full moon, etc.

I made a bunch of these for the box that I shipped to OWH this morning.  Of course I didn't take pictures, had to make another, and my placement of the bulb wasn't quite right this time...

The OWH Mid Week Throw Down is to create a "punny" card.  Not really my style, I guess I have not figured out how to include humor in my cardmaking.  But that is what these challenges are about, right?  Stretching our skills and styles?!?!?

The Paper Studio Glasses, Staches, and Ties paper, textured with a Fiskars crocodile plate, grey rawhide and layering cardstock from stash. 

OWH Mid Week Throw Down - Nature of Christmas

This weeks challenge is to make a holiday card inspired by nature.

What says winter holidays more than snowflakes?!?!?

Snowflakes from Favorite Findings.  They are shiny silver, and are dimensional.  Patterned paper form DCWV Winter Stack.  Silver paper and ribbon form stash.  Navy card base is white on the inside.   The inside in blank, our heroes can make this card into whatever they want, thank you, non-religious holiday, etc.  They don't have to use it for Christmas.
